TAPOTEMENT, or drumming, as I like to call it, is one of my favorite techniques.

It takes effort to do this correctly but it is so effective when done right. 
It is a great nerve reset,  meaning that it can calm angry nerves to allow the muscles to relax because it interrupts the nerve pattern with it’s cadence.

This is done only on the soft tissue and for 1 minute to several minutes .
The added benefit of drumming during a massage is that it is effective in relaxing muscles in chronic pain, increasing circulation and strengthens the immune system due to it’s ability to rejuvenate your cells.
